The lid (part where you drink from) doesn’t seat super well at first, so it’s difficult to close and not feel like you’re gonna sling liquid everywhere. But it seems like with time, it’s getting easier to close. Would buy again.

This water bottle is fantastic. It’s made out of a sturdy plastic, and is really high quality. The claimed Odor Resistance works really well, even through many uses with different protein powders, pre-workout’s, drink mixes, etc. Throughout everything I put in that water bottle, wash it as normal, and you won’t smell anything, as if it were brand new. They look really good too, in all of the colors (I bought a light blue one). The top cap doesn’t leak and overall has been a great buy. Definitely would recommend these over Blender Bottle’s older models that can smell awful.

If you could rate the product design it would earn 5 stars in that category. I love how they implemented feedback from customers with small tweaks to the Pro model, and it’s reasonably quiet when shaking. The blender ball is a little springy which reduces wear and makes it no noisier than a few ice cubes floating around.
Otherwise, this is the quintessential 4-star product. Everything is great but not perfect. The plastic is slightly on the thin side; both the cup and lid have a little give when you squeeze them which concerns me about how the seal will hold up over time. Make sure to stick to the top rack if you have a dishwasher since I guarantee it’ll warp at high heat. You have to twist and snap both lids on tight to avoid any leakage, and I feel like I could break that flip top if I’m not careful. They do warn that it’s not meant to hold hot drinks, and heat or CO² pressure could pop the lid open on you if it isn’t on tight. Be careful opening it, but it seems pretty secure, especially when used as directed, they’re just making sure they don’t get sued when some idiot shakes a coffee and blows their face off with it. The cup is almost totally smooth and has no detectable odor, but don’t treat it like some kind of antibacterial space cup like they want you to think. The lid has a bunch of micro scratches after the first wash, and retains a bit of powdered drink smell even after thoroughly rinsing with warm water after drinking, so you should still at least do that if not wash it every single time you use it. The indented sides make it still fairly easy to hold despite the smooth texture, unless you have very small hands. The underside of the lid could be a bit smoother for cleaning (I wish they’d find a better place for those odd little serial numbers that will harbor bacteria) but at least it’s easy to clean: Just a little soap in there, put the lid on, shake and rinse, but keep your finger on the lid and open it into the sink due to the aforementioned pressure thing.
But pressure means it’s not leaking, and overall this shaker cup is packed with features and feels like a steal at the $10 I paid. For that price you can’t go wrong. If it were any better it’d probably cost more, and for powdered drinks it sure beats the big kid sippy cups you get from G-Fuel and the $30 leak monster Razer sells for Respawn. I just wish they would come out with some hip designs, put some video game logos on there for the cool kids. The measurements on the side could use some highlights at least because the darker colors can be hard to read in dim lighting.
At the end of the day, even though it isn’t perfect, I still want another one in the small size for everyday use. The middle one feels like the perfect size unless you spend all day at the gym or hiking. Enough for more than one serving of just about any type of blend. Best shaker cup I’ve owned.
